ENABLING ZERO EMISSIONS

Norwegian Hydrogen has awarded the Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED) contract, with an option for Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC), to Worley Rosenberg for our 35 MW RjukanLH₂ project. The award marks an important step toward realizing the Nordic region’s first industrial-scale liquid hydrogen production facility in Rjukan, Norway.

MaserFrakt, one of Sweden’s largest providers of heavy-duty transport, construction machinery, and logistics services has partnered with Norwegian Hydrogen for the supply of green hydrogen for MaserFrakt’s vehicle operations. The collaboration is an important step in both parties' ambition to contribute to the green transition, enabling zero emissions in heavy transport.

European logistics company and shipowner Samskip has selected Norwegian Hydrogen as preferred supplier for liquid green hydrogen (LH₂) for the two SeaShuttle container vessels it has currently under construction. A Memorandum of Understanding for further cooperation was signed by the parties on Friday 5 December 2025.

Norwegian Hydrogen AS has been offered a EUR 31.5 million grant from the EU Innovation Fund for its pioneering RjukanLH₂ project, which will establish Norway’s first complete value chain for green liquid hydrogen (LH₂) dedicated to maritime transport.

In October last year, Norwegian Hydrogen AS and GreenIron H₂ AB announced their agreement for delivery of green hydrogen from Norwegian Hydrogen’s production plant in Hellesylt, Norway, to GreenIron’s first full-scale furnace for direct reduction of metals in Sandviken, Sweden. Now, the two companies have broadened their collaboration, signing a strategic agreement to co-locate and build green hydrogen production plants and direct reduction furnaces at additional locations.
